Getting Started
Download OffGrid Dose from the App Store, complete the quick onboarding flow, and subscribe to unlock full access. Set your medication, dose amount, injection day, and starting weight. The entire setup takes about 2 minutes — then you're ready to log your first check-in.
No. OffGrid Dose has no account, email sign-up, or password. Its working health log is local in the app, and the company does not operate health-data sync or a server-side health database.
OffGrid Dose supports all major GLP-1 medications including Ozempic (semaglutide), Wegovy (semaglutide), Mounjaro (tirzepatide), Zepbound (tirzepatide), compounded semaglutide, compounded tirzepatide, and custom medications. You can configure any medication name and dosing schedule.
Subscription & Billing
OffGrid Dose is a free download with in-app purchase options. Apple shows the current availability and terms in the App Store and in the app for your region.
Open your iPhone's Settings app, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find OffGrid Dose in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access to all features until your current billing period ends.
All purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the OffGrid Dose charge, and submit your refund request. Apple handles all refund decisions and processing.
Open OffGrid Dose, navigate to the subscription screen, and tap the "Restore Purchases" button. This will verify your active subscription with Apple and unlock full access. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you originally subscribed with.
Privacy & Data
OffGrid Dose does not collect, receive, or store the GLP-1 records you enter. Those records stay in the app's local storage unless you export or share them, and Apple may include app data in a device backup depending on your settings. The app uses Apple and RevenueCat for subscriptions and attribution; if you authorize iOS tracking, Tenjin may receive device, advertising, attribution, limited app-usage, and subscription information. These services never receive your GLP-1 health-record content.
OffGrid Dose uses privacy-conscious measurement to understand which ads lead to installs and subscriptions. Depending on your iOS tracking choice, Apple, RevenueCat, and Tenjin may process device, advertising, attribution, limited app-interaction, and subscription information. Tenjin is not connected and receives no app events when tracking is denied, restricted, or later revoked. Your medication, dose, weight, symptoms, photos, notes, demographics, and injection history are never included.
Progress photos are kept in the app's local, sandboxed working data rather than the Camera Roll or an OffGrid Dose sync service. Depending on your Apple and device settings, an encrypted device backup may include app data.
Uninstalling removes the app's local container from that device. An Apple-managed backup may still include app data depending on your Apple and device settings, so review or remove relevant backups separately if that is your goal.
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your app data may be included in your device's encrypted iCloud backup. This is managed entirely by Apple through your device settings — we don't initiate or control this process. We do not offer our own cloud backup service.
Using the App
OffGrid Dose records eight visual zones and shows when each was logged. This is a history aid, not a clinical site recommendation. Follow the instructions for use supplied with your exact medication presentation and your clinician's guidance.
Yes. Go to Settings within the app and update your medication or dose at any time. Every change is logged with a timestamp so your history remains accurate. You can switch between supported medications or adjust your dose as directed by your healthcare provider.
Tap the primary action button on the home screen, then follow the guided steps: confirm your injection, select the injection site, log your weight, note any side effects, and optionally capture a progress photo. The entire check-in takes about 10 seconds.
The working health log can function without continuous connectivity. Connectivity may still be required for purchase or entitlement checks, updates, web links, and Apple-managed services.

Troubleshooting
Tap the "Restore Purchases" button on the subscription screen. This syncs your subscription status with Apple. If the issue persists, verify your subscription is active in iPhone Settings > your name > Subscriptions. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to subscribe.
The weight chart requires at least one weight entry to display. Log your weight during a check-in or add a manual weight entry. If you've logged entries but the chart is empty, try closing and reopening the app.
Make sure OffGrid Dose has notification permissions enabled. Go to iPhone Settings > OffGrid Dose > Notifications and ensure "Allow Notifications" is turned on. Also verify that your injection day and notification time are configured correctly within the app's settings.
Progress photos are the primary consumer of storage space. Each photo can be several megabytes. To free up space, go to the Photos tab within the app and delete photos you no longer need. Injection logs and weight data use minimal storage.
Wave Tech LLC cannot restore a cleared local health log because OffGrid Dose has no company-operated sync or server-side health database. An earlier Apple-managed device backup may include app data depending on your settings; consult Apple's current restore guidance before changing or erasing your device.
