Privacy Policy

OffGrid Dose stores all of your health and personal data exclusively on your device. The following types of data never leave your iPhone:

• Injection logs (medication, dose, date, time, injection site)
• Weight entries and body measurements
• Progress photos
• Side effect check-ins
• Medication and dosing schedules
• Notes and personal observations
• Notification preferences
• App settings and personalization

We have no servers that receive, store, or process your health data.

OffGrid Dose uses Apple's SwiftData framework to persist your data in a local, encrypted SQLite database within the app's sandboxed container. This means:

• Your data is stored in the app's private directory on your device
• No other apps can access this data
• The data is protected by iOS's file-level encryption (Data Protection)

If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your device, your app data may be included in your device's encrypted iCloud backup. This is managed entirely by Apple and your device settings — we do not initiate or control this process.

OffGrid Dose offers subscription-based access through Apple's App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see, collect, or store your payment information, including credit card numbers, billing addresses, or Apple ID credentials.

We use RevenueCat for subscription management and entitlement verification. RevenueCat receives only an anonymous, randomly generated subscriber ID — no name, email, or device identifier is transmitted.

Our website at offgriddose.com uses Google Analytics and PostHog for website analytics. These services collect anonymized usage data such as page views, referral sources, and general browsing behavior to help us understand how visitors use our website and improve the experience. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish unique visitors. PostHog collects product analytics events. Neither service receives any health data from the OffGrid Dose iOS app — analytics are limited to the offgriddose.com website only.

The following third-party services are integrated into OffGrid Dose or our website:

• On-device data: Retained on your device until you delete it within the app or uninstall the app
• RevenueCat data: Retained per RevenueCat's own data retention policy, limited to anonymous subscription status
• Website analytics (Google Analytics, PostHog): Anonymized usage data retained per each service's own data retention policies. No health data is included

OffGrid Dose is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The App is designed for adults managing GLP-1 medications under the supervision of a healthcare provider.

Because your data lives on your device, you have full control:

• Access: All your data is visible directly within the app on your device
• Deletion: You can delete any or all data within the app at any time, or uninstall the app to remove all data
• Portability: Your data is stored locally and is yours to manage as you see fit

CCPA (California): Since we do not collect, sell, or share personal information, the CCPA rights to know, delete, and opt-out are inherently satisfied.

GDPR (EU/EEA): We do not process personal data on our servers. Your on-device data is under your sole control. No data is transferred internationally by us.

We take the security of your data seriously, even though it never reaches our servers:

• SwiftData stores your information in an encrypted SQLite database protected by iOS Data Protection
• Progress photos are stored in the app's private, sandboxed container — not in your Camera Roll or accessible to other apps
• Subscription verification uses Apple's StoreKit 2 framework with on-device transaction validation
• All network communication (subscription verification, website) uses HTTPS encryption

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
