Unlike other health tracking apps, OffGrid Dose stores all data locally on the user's iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. There are no accounts to create, no cloud servers to sync to, and no analytics SDKs collecting usage data. The app works fully offline.

### Visual Body Map with 8 Color-Coded Injection Zones
The body map divides FDA-approved injection sites (abdomen, thighs, upper arms) into 8 distinct zones. Each zone is color-coded based on injection history:
- **Green** — Zone has rested long enough and is ready for use. The app recommends the green zone rested the longest.
- **Amber** — Zone was used recently. Choose a green zone instead if available.
- **Red** — Zone was used too recently. Avoid to prevent lipohypertrophy and ensure consistent absorption.

The app automatically recommends the optimal next injection zone based on complete rotation history.

### Weight Analytics with Dose-Change Markers
The weight chart includes:
- Individual weigh-in data points
- Smoothed trend line filtering daily fluctuations
- Dose-change markers (vertical lines) at each titration step
- Rate of loss calculated per dose level
- Projected goal date based on current trajectory
- Optional side effect overlay showing symptom severity alongside weight data

### Progress Photos with Comparison Slider
Users can take progress photos stored entirely on-device. The comparison slider allows side-by-side before/after viewing. Photos are never uploaded to any server — they exist only on the user's iPhone, protected by device encryption.

### Side Effect Tracking with Dose Correlation
Daily symptom logging with severity ratings. Side effect data is overlaid on the weight chart alongside dose-change markers, creating a three-layer view (weight, dose, symptoms) that reveals patterns between titration and side effects. Common tracked side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation, fatigue, headache, and injection site reactions.

### 15-Second Daily Check-In
The daily check-in flow is designed for speed and consistency. On non-injection days: log weight (if weigh-in day) and note any side effects. On injection days: additionally log the injection and select the site on the body map. The entire flow takes approximately 15 seconds.

### Complete Offline Functionality
Because there are no servers, the app works without an internet connection. All data is stored locally using SwiftData. Charts load instantly. Users can log data on airplanes, in rural areas, or anywhere without connectivity.
